I would like to invite you the forthcoming AGM of the Scout Group, which is being held on Thursday 22 July, from 7.00pm.
As well as the AGM, which will start around 7.45pm, there will be a presentation of the new group web site, which has been created by John Lowery. John will conduct the presentation and show the many features and benefits of the site, and how user friendly the site is. The plan is for this presentation to take around 30 minutes, we will then go into the AGM, and after that there will be the opportunity to ask any questions regarding the website and the Scout Group.
This year there will also be the opportunity for you and your children to have a go at Archery, this will take place in the garden whilst the presentation and the AGM are taking place. There will also be a BarBQ, along with refreshments.
We are also looking for volunteers to help with the erecting and dismantling of marquees, one of the groups main sources of fundraising, for the remainder of this year and next. If you feel able to help, please let us know at the AGM.
