1st Burton Scouts have been nominated as Sainsbury’s nominated charity for 2010-2011.
Every year the Burton Latimer store chooses a local charity to support with their fund raising efforts. This year they have chosen to support 1st Burton Group and hope to raise in the region of £2000- £3000 pounds over the next 12 months. Last year they took part in such things as sky diving, fancy dress and numerous other events to raise money and have promised more of the same this year. 1st Burton have always had close ties with the store and have been able to stage bag packing plus support for local events such as the Duck Race.
