Groups have been allocated these designated car parking locations.
ST EDWARDS SCHOOL (Eastleigh Road)

Additional overflow parking on the playground.
TRESHAM INSTITUTE (WINDMILL AVENUE)
17TH Kettering / 20th Kettering / 1st Ise Valley / 1st Mawsley / 1st Geddington /
1st Burton Latimer / 20th Corby / 1st Gretton / 2nd Rothwell / 2nd Desborough / 3rd Desborough / 23rd Kettering/ Explorers / Network / SASU.
Car parks will open at 10:00hrs and close at 16:00hrs.
Should the car parks be full on arrival I’m afraid you will have to find alternative off street parking.
MARSHALLING
Marshalls will be positioned on the pedestrian crossings at Barton Road, junction with Windmill Avenue and Pytchley Road, junction with London Road from 12 noon.
Award Ceremony
Ceremony for Young People and Adult’s gaining awards will be held at 11.30am.
SERVICE
The St George’s Celebrations will be conducted from the Pavilion at Wicksteed Park by the Rev Helen Wakefield- Carr.
Seating has been arranged for 1,000; over that it will be standing room only. Beavers / Cubs / scouts will enter the Pavilion via one of the three doors and be seated in sections. Explorers / Network / SASU will be seated behind the younger sections.
Screens will be situated strategically to ensure that the vast majority of those attending will benefit from the Service.
TIMES / PARADE
Groups are requested to assemble at the Paradise Lane entrance to the park from 1330hrs. Markers will be placed for groups to identify their assembly point.
The Parade Marshall’s (Leigh Crawshaw and Sharon Langley) will organise Groups as per the order sheet to arrive at the Pavilion no later than 1415hrs.
The St George’s Celebrations will end at about 1515hrs or thereabouts.
USE OF THE PARK / WRIST BANDS & PAVILION
Some groups will no doubt take advantage to make this occasion a day event with the availability of the discounted wrist band offer.
Wrist Bands can be purchased at £14.00 in advance or on the day; these can be purchased from the main ticket office.
ADDITIONAL
The Pavilion is booked to us for the day, thus if anyone requires leaving property prior to the start times you are more than welcome to do so on the proviso that any items or baggage are collected prior to the start of the Parade.
In addition, should the weather be inclement, I would ask you to make your way to the Pavilion where entertainment will be provided prior to the start of the Service.
