Our annual Scout Christmas post was once again a great success last year.
We sold 2,827 stamps, sent 2,394 cards to other groups for posting, received 3,086 from other groups to post and raised £635 for the group. 1 card was successfully despatched to France, numerous wrongly addressed cards were corrected and delivered and 1 card remains undelivered as we have no idea where the address is!
A big thank you to everyone who helped out both with deliveries and organising. Lets hope we can do even better in 2011, as it’s both a great asset to the community as well as earning much needed funds for the group.
