The St George’s Celebrations will be conducted from the Pavilion at Wicksteed Park.

Seating has been arranged for 1,000; over that it will be standing room only.

Screens will be situated strategically to ensure that the vast majority of those attending will benefit from the Service.

This year’s theme will be Marathons and the collection will be donated to the ABCT (Andi Bull Cancer Trust).

Groups are requested to assemble at the Paradise Lane end of the park from 1315hrs.

The Parade Marshall will organise Groups as per the order sheet to arrive at the Pavilion no later than 1400hrs.

The collection will take place at the parade venue so that the monies raised can be dedicated at the beginning of the service in memory of Andi Bull.

The St George’s Celebrations will close at about 1500hrs.

USE OF THE PARK/ WRIST BANDS & PAVILION

Some groups have already made arrangements to make this occasion a day event with the availability of the discounted wrist band offer.

Wrist Bands can be purchased at £12.00 in advance or on the day; these can be purchased from the main ticket office.

ADDITIONAL

The Pavilion is booked to us for the day, thus if anyone requires leaving property prior to the start times you are more than welcome to do so on the proviso that any items or baggage are collected prior to the start of the Parade.

In addition, should the weather be very inclement then I would ask you to make your way to the Pavilion where entertainment will be provided prior to the start of the Service.
