Fun Day/AGM – Sunday 22nd May 2011 at the Cricket Club, Burton Latimer
This year we have decided to do something a little different whereby Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Leaders, helpers and their families can enjoy a fun filled day at the Cricket Club in Burton Latimer.
We aim to have activities for the children around cricketing which will be designed to be both fun and instructional, followed up by a tournament, depending on the amount of children that will be coming along so more the merrier; there will be a bar to purchase drinks and we will also be laying on food for which we would request a donation towards, which ultimately gets put back into the Scouts to help them with their groups and activities.
The day will begin at 1pm and will end off with presentations and the AGM at 4pm, concluding by 5pm.
Please come along as it’s a great time to have with the family and mix with other families. If you can not make the Fun Day please come along to the AGM.
It will be a non-uniform event except for group members (that’s beavers, cubs, scouts and leaders) who are requested to wear your neckers at the AGM only.
