As many of you will know, 1st Burton Scouts were selected as this years chosen charity by Sainsbury’s store in Burton Latimer.
Over the last 12 months they have been raising money with a variety of events ranging from
in store promotions as well as quiz nights and collections.
Last Monday Richard Clarke, our GSL went along to the store along with several of the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to be presented with a cheque by the store Manager, Wayne Lloyd.
The final sum raised was a fantastic £885.00 and a big thankyou goes out to all the staff at Sainsburys for their efforts throughout the year.
