As promised here is an update on the recent fund raising activities. Over the Christmas period we managed to raise a fantastic £1,294.40.

Bag Packing £332.40
Burgers and Hotdogs £287.00
The above numbers are pure profit with any overheads deducted, so again a huge thank you to everyone involved.
Fund raising is such an integral part of any Scout Group and without it a lot of the activities and purchasing of essential equipment simply would not happen.
As I’m sure you are all aware one of the biggest fund raisers for our group is the hire and installation of our marquees throughout the year. This activity alone brings in around £5,000.00 per annum. This year more then ever we will be relying on help from parents who are able to lend a hand to keep this lucrative area of the unit running. Without your help we may well have to stop offering this service and lose the revenue. You will be hearing more about this and how to volunteer in the coming weeks but if anyone thinks they can help out please notify your group leader or contact us on;
