We are pleased to announce that this year we will be running a Group Camp in September.
It’s been a long time since we had one of these and it is a chance for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to all get together and enjoy themselves. The camp will be held on 21st -23rd September 2012 at the Sir John Lowther Scout Centre, Kettering.
The cost for this camp will be £25.00.
There will be various activities going on all weekend with Cubs and Scouts camping under canvas and Beavers staying in the halls of residence.
Cubs and Scouts will arrive at camp on Friday night at 18.30 and Beavers will arrive on Saturday morning at 09.00
All parents are welcome to come along on Sunday at 11.00 for a BBQ and Awards Ceremony, as a follow up to the group’s AGM.
We are interested to hear from all parents so we can get an idea of how many would be interested in attending. If you are interested we would require a deposit of £10.00 no later than 12th July. This deposit is non refundable and should be paid directly to your section leader.
More details will follow nearer the date and we are all looking forward to what should be a fantastic weekend.
